BEST RATE GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL guarantees the best online rate on www.madisontaipei.com based on the following terms and conditions:
- One complete and valid reservation must be made through any MADISON TAIPEI HOTELreservation channel, including our worldwide reservation centre, at MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL, or on www.madisontaipei.com for a room or suite at MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL.
- The Best Rate Guarantee Claim Form must be submitted to us within 24 hours of booking and at least 24 hours prior to your arrival at the hotel. Claims will not be accepted at check in, at check out or during the course of your stay at our hotel.
- A valid claim must be submitted in one of the following languages: Chinese, English or Japanese.
- The lower competing rate must be for the same hotel, room type, number of guests, reservation dates, cancellation policy and service amenities (e.g., breakfast).
- The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to rates that are not generally available to the public over the Internet, including, but are not limited to, private rates; rates that are part of a package; corporate or travel agent rates; conference rates and any rates that are targeted towards a specific group of individual and not the wider public; rates requiring membership in a club or programme; direct mail or email solicitations; and rates requiring a promotional code.
- The guarantee does not apply to any rates from auction websites and/or opaque providers that do not disclose the hotel brand and/or particular hotel until the reservation is completed, such as Priceline and Hotwire.
- An acceptable form of evidence must prove the availability of the lower rate. An “acceptable” form of evidence will be the forwarding to us of an official print screen or email confirming a reservation by you with the competing website which offers the lower rate than that on www.madisontaipei.com or such other evidence as MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL may in its absolute discretion deem acceptable from time to time. Your evidence must allow MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL to identify the URL of the competing website and be submitted with your Claim.
- MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL reserves the right to deny a claim if it cannot independently verify the availability of the lower rate at the time it processes the claim.
- Lower competing rates applicable to only a portion of your entire scheduled stay will not be honoured.
- For a multiple night stay, MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL will compare the total cost of the stay at MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL rate with that of displayed on other website. Only one Best Rate Guarantee reward will apply per stay.
- Rate comparisons will be made net of taxes, gratuities, service charges, admission tickets, transportation tickets, and any other fees and incidentals that may exist.
- In the event that the competing lower rate is in a different currency, MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL will convert the rate into New Taiwanese Dollar with the exchange rate in use by MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL at the time of handling your claim. Claims will be denied when the difference is less than 1% of the room rate offered on the brand website.
- MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL reserves the right to deny a claim where the lower rate displayed on other website has more restrictive rate conditions than the MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL rate.
- The difference will be deducted from your bill at check-out. For a fully prepaid rate booked through MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL brand website, the difference will be refunded to your credit card after your claim has been approved. If a pre-paid reservation is booked through other provider, MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL is not responsible for any fees associated with the cancellation of that reservation.
- Upon validation of your claim, a hotel representative will send an email or other communication to you that will include the reservation confirmation number and the new rate you will be charged.
- A customer who submits a claim prior to booking and whose claim is deemed valid by the hotel will be contacted to inform them that they have a valid claim. The customer must respond to the hotel within 24 hours and prior to local check-in time to complete the booking process.
- MADISON TAIPEI HOTEL reserves the right to amend, revise, supplement, suspend or discontinue the Best Rate Guarantee at anytime in its sole discretion and without prior notice.
